Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with Severe Learning Difficulties.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere to promote student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create an effective and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs beneficial but not essential
  • Understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning and behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
