Cover Supervisor

Placement: Full-time (Monday to Friday) or Day to Day Supply

Hours: 08:30 am - 15:30 pm

Pay rate: £100-120 per day

Reed Education are recruiting for Cover Supervisor's start in September. Therefore, they are looking for candidates who are either experienced Cover Supervisor's, or those who are experienced Learning Support Assistant's looking for a step up.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Managing Classroom Behavior: Cover supervisors play a crucial role in maintaining discipline and managing classroom behavior.
2. Delivering Pre-Set Work: They are responsible for delivering lessons and activities provided by the regular teacher.
3. Ensuring a Safe Learning Environment: Cover supervisors create a positive and constructive classroom environment.
4. Administrative Tasks: This includes collecting completed work, reporting back on student behavior, and following school procedures.
5. Supporting Extracurricular Activities: Some cover supervisors may also assist with extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

- Need strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Must be confident and have a strong classroom presence to manage behaviour.

- Experienced working in Secondary schools in the UK.

- Must be happy to pay £38 for an enhanced DBS if you do not have one on the update service.

- A minimum of one qualification obtained from school/college or a course.

- You must have right to work in the UK- we do not offer sponsorship.
