Do you have a passion for helping students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) thrive?

We're seeking a highly motivated and organised Specialist Support Tutor to join our supportive ALS Team within Student Support Services.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of SEND students. You'll provide individualised support throughout their educational journey delivering high quality teaching and learning for English, maths, language and study skills to identified SEND students in small group and 1:1 to students across college.

What you'll bring:

• Enthusiasm for improving SEND services and a commitment to student success.
• Resilience and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a caseload and meet statutory deadlines.
• A Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
• A Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one in the first year). Prior experience in SEND is a plus!
