Do you have a passion for English or Maths and a talent for inspiring students?

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and committed Programme Lead to join our amazing English and Maths team.

You would need to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners and students, across a range of levels within the subject areas, from Entry Level (KS1) to Level 2 equivalent GCSE. Based on your own experience; we aim to align your strengths and skills, this could also be dependent on the needs of the faculty.

• Be a champion for English and Maths, promoting a positive attitude across the department and vocational areas.
• Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and foster a supportive team environment.
• Play a key role in ensuring smooth curriculum operations.

What you'll do:

• Design, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in English or Maths.
• Support vocational teachers in integrating English and Maths skills into their courses.
• Help identify student needs through diagnostic assessments.
• Create innovative learning materials such as schemes of work, lesson plans, and individual learning plans.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and share your ideas.

What we're looking for:

• A teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd/L5 Diploma
• Strong subject knowledge in English or Maths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• A collaborative and team-oriented spirit.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt towards the business needs
