Part time Brickwork and Multi Skills Lecturer (0.5FTE)

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our School of Construction and Engineering, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can use their significant industry knowledge and experience in the construction trade to teach on our Level 1 Construction Skills programme and the Level 1 and 2 Bricklaying programmes.

You will be passionate about passing on your skills and knowledge to our students to prepare them for the world of work or to take further qualifications and be capable of supporting our students to excel in both the workshop and classroom environment.

The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of progressions within the construction industry.

This is a part time role working 18.5 hours per week at our Barnfield Campus in Luton.

To teach on this course you should hold a trade qualification or have gained relevant industry experience. Teaching experience is desirable but if you are willing to complete teacher training and have the aptitude for delivering training, we would love to hear from you.
