A Science Teacher is needed in a 'Good' Non-Denomination Secondary School & Sixth Form in West London.

This Science Teacher post will be full time, on a fixed term basis of 1 academic year, September 2024 to July 2025.

Teaching for this Science Teacher role will be focused on GCSE lessons. However, you may be expected to cover/teach KS3 and KS5 lessons on occasion.

The salary for this Science Teacher position will be between £34514 and £51179, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

In the most recent inspection, the school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

It is one of the oldest schools in the area, tracing its history back to 1630.

From Year 7 to 11, the school has an intake for boys only with girls being admitted to school's Sixth Form.

The Sixth Form is part of a consortium with other Secondary schools in the borough.

The main school site is located near a famous country estate.

In 2003, the school gained Sports College status and in 2005 was named Sports College of the Year in the UK.

Several professional athletes, sportsman and MPs have been former pupils.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recently qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.

You are also encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.
