About the Role

You will lead and inspire the next generation of gaming talent through your planning and delivery of the games curriculum. You will mark and assess learner projects, setting high expectations and motivating them to be the best that they can be. You will be a role model , providing our learners with innovative, practical and employment-led training.

You will collaborate with others to share best practices and ensure that our learners get the highest quality experience. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team. Working at Access Creative College means working with learners who are engaged, enthusiastic and passionate about the education they are gaining.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills which will help you to effectively manage the delivery of high-quality lessons and Schemes of Work. and to organise internal and external examination/assessment-related administration including the moderation and verification of coursework and internal course assessments.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Games Art with a focus on traditional art in games and character design. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of artistic skills and industry experience , along with a passion for nurturing the next generation of game artists. Your role will be instrumental in delivering engaging lessons on a range of theories and practicals for all things concept art . Covering an understanding in art techniques, with the ability to translate these skills into digital formats for character design and game environments .

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related subject area and maths and English qualifications at level 2 or above. A teaching qualification is desirable but if you don't have one, we will support you to get one and provide you with time to study!

Salary Scale: £22,308 per annum (unqualified) to £25,157 per annum
