Calling all Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish teachers. We are inviting applications for language teacher to join our extraordinary team of Hourly Paid Lecturers.
Oxfordshire Adult Learning (OAL) is a large, award winning faculty of Abingdon and Witney College. We aim to maximise access to learning for adults in Oxfordshire, widening participation and transforming the health, social and economic wellbeing of individuals, families and their communities.
Our provision is diverse and includes an extensive range of leisure learning courses, community learning courses, family learning courses and accredited courses which lead to recognised qualifications. Our courses are delivered at our campuses in Abingdon and in Witney, as well as in community venues across Oxfordshire.

Hourly Paid Lecturers are responsible for planning courses, delivering engaging lessons, keeping records of their learners' progress and participating in development activities to enhance their own teaching, learning and assessment skills. The College offers a comprehensive staff development programme to support teachers in developing their practice.
You do not have to be a qualified teacher but must be knowledgeable and passionate about your subject area. Opportunities also exist to gain a recognised teaching qualification.
Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
