Part Time Lecturer in ESOL (0.4fte)

The School of ESOL are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our high-performing teaching team in Luton.

Our ESOL provision includes college and community-based courses, during the day and evenings, from pre-entry to Level 1 qualifications. This role would suit someone with an understanding of both adult and 16 - 18-year-old learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities across all levels. We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with learners. Further Education or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.

This is a part-time role for 10 hours a week based in Luton with the opportunity to increase the hours.

You'll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you'll be actively encouraged to upskill.

We have a free on site gym and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 11 th August 2024. Interviews will be held week beginning 19 th August 2024.
