Learning Centre Trainer

Role: Learning Centre Trainer

Location: Bedford Learning Centre

Salary/Benefits: Salary from £26,000 DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People's pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hrs per Week (1.0 FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

About the role:

We have a great opportunity based at one of our Learning Centre Trainer to become part of The Bedford College Group.

As a Trainer, you will play a key role in the success of our students through:
  • Contributing effectively to the promotion, delivery and assessment of ICT provision at the Learning Centre along with additional courses for wellbeing and safety.
  • Providing support and guidance to Learning Centre students.
  • Providing support to the administration systems within the Learning Centre
About you:
  • ITQ Level 2 or ability to demonstrate skills at this level
  • PTTLS or other teaching qualification
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint
  • Successful experience of working effectively in customer facing environment
  • Successful experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children, young people and vulnerable adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines within set guidelines / priorities
  • Willingness to participate in promotion and recruitment activities to support the Centre provision
