Role: Trainee Lecturer - Electrical Installation

Location: Tresham College - Corby and Wellingborough Campus.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Trainee Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join Tresham College at Corby/Wellingbrough Campus.

As a Lecturer you play an important role in the success of our students through:
  • Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
  • Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
  • Managing students' learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
  • Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
  • Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
About you:
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (8202, 2365 or equivalent).
  • A willingness to achieve a Level 3 Electrical installations qualifications (C&G L3 2365 or equivalent)
  • Have 18th Edition
  • Willingness to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
  • Either recent experience of working in UK Electrotechnical industry OR recent experience of teaching and assessing on a range of programmes and levels.
  • Knowledge of the current developments in UK Building Services
  • Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and work effectively to deadlines
  • Ability to make a positive contribution to the team, valuing and respecting others' expertise and contribution
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
