Primary Teacher - Maidstone

Full-Time - MPS/UPS - September 2024 Start

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach a KS2 class, on a full-time basis. It will commence from September and will run till the end of the academic year. As the role is a full vacancy, there is scope for a candidate to go permanent at the end of the academic year. Experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.

The school is a single-form entry primary school in Maidstone and has been graded GOOD by Ofsted with OUTSTANDING elements, such as Behaviour and attitudes, Personal Development and Leadership and Management.

The Role

• Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS2
• Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
• Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
• Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
• Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2
• Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
• Have right to work in the UK
