Location: HMP Belmarsh, 1 Belmarsh Road, London SE28 0EB
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible hours.
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (Subject to experience)
Apprenticeships: Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards

HMP Belmarsh have an exciting opportunity for a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.

We are seeking a Tutor with a great attitude and a passion for food, with an understanding on nutrition who can deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison.

We are open to those from all avenues of experience, Chefs, Caterers, from charitable sectors or food kitchens to those even from a home cooking background. We have good facilities, qualifications aren’t essential, if you’ve got the passion and right attitude we want to hear from you.

As a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to achieve success and guiding them through the courses. You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, but also confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other areas within education.
