Apprentice L3 Hospitality supervisor for Quantock Restaurant

Job description

What you will do in your working day
  • Supported supervision of guest experience within the Quantock restaurant
  • Ensure high levels of cleanliness in all areas
  • Take initiative to identify, create and evaluate systems and procedures to support the service delivery within the commercial restaurant
  • Manage diary and guest communication related to all events including guest chef evenings
  • Be efficient and prioritise tasks to support both the commercial restaurant
  • Identify and create opportunities to increase commercial activity
  • Effective opening and closing of all commercial outlets including money handling
  • Provide a high level of personal customer service to all patrons of the restaurant
  • The need to set personal tasks and objectives, managing workload and planning commercial activities on a daily basis
  • Adapt to the needs of the business which may include unsociable working hours, weekends and evenings
  • Complete the full range of training and assessment requirements as outlined in the apprenticeship agreement
  • Ensure regular meetings with your trainer / assessor to ensure swift progress in your training and qualifications
The training you will be getting
  • Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor - Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 1 Functional skills - maths (exemptions apply)
  • Level 1 Functional skills - English (exemptions apply)
  • This apprenticeship will be fully delivered in the workplace
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
  • The aim of the apprenticeship is to give all of the required skills to the apprentice, so that at the end of the training period, there will be an opportunity to become a fully employed member of staff.
