Job description
  • West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds
  • *28 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
  • Salary: £27,612 - £39,173 per annum (Actual salary: £22,089 - £31,338 per annum)
We are seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Sciences to join an outstanding team in teaching and assessing on a range of programmes including teaching and directing courses at Level 1, 2 and Level 3 Diplomas.

The successful candidate will be established in driving forward Level 1 academic provision - working closely with a team to effectively lead students forward in achieving their objectives and potential, and to be positive, well-rounded individuals within the sector.

Previous experience as a teacher or lecturer would be highly advantageous but experience specific to Health and Social Sciences is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and either hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
