Year 3 Teacher (Full-Time) - Lancaster

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lancaster is seeking a passionate, hardworking and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team in September 2024 on a full time basis.

The position will be from September 2024 until December 2024 on a full-time basis. When the post-holder returns, the idea is for this to be a part time job share role for the rest of the acadmic year. A general TA will be in class as well as a one-to-one TA, who supports a child with an EHCP.

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply for this position. ECTs will be supported. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality education and nurturing the growth and development.

This position is to start in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of KS2 children.
Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate children's learning across all areas of the KS2 curriculum.
Assess children's progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children's holistic development.
Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in the KS2.
Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
