Estates Officer

Derby College Group (DCG) have a brilliant opportunity for an Estates Officer to join our passionate team based at our beautiful Broomfield Hall campus. In this role you will aid the relevant estates managers in their day-to-day duties in managing the estate and all related contracts.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will work as part of the Estates management team to ensure that Service Delivery and Operational KPIs are delivered, while assisting in the development and implementation of the College's planned and reactive maintenance programmes. You will also liaise with external contractors and procure quotations on a variety of projects college wide. You will take responsibility for your own professional development and deputise for the Estates Operations Manager and Estates Contracts Manager when required.

About you

It is essential within this role to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and to be able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of college teams and colleagues to provide an effective service. You will have knowledge of Commercial / Education Estates and Facilities and be aware of the latest development within the practice. You will also hold an Estates / Building qualification or have experience relevant to the role.
