Functional Skills Tutor and Assessor in Maths - Permanent, 21.6 hours per week onsite, actual working days to be agreed. Salary - £31,225 - £39,425 per annum Full time (Actual Salary: £18,735 - £23,655 per annum) depending on qualifications and experience. We are recruiting a Functional Skills Maths for Hertford Regional College (HRC). The successful applicant will obtain drive and passion to deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment, and student support to HRC Apprentices.

About The Role

The Functional Skills Tutor and Assessor in Maths will support the successful attainment of apprentices and learners on commercial projects, through the application of effective teaching, assessment practices, of timely outcomes for learners on apprenticeship and commercial programmes. Delivery will be for apprentices across the full range of HRC apprenticeships offer and commercial delivery of functional skills Maths level 1 and level 2, to ensure the full implementation of course review, evaluation, and development.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic teacher with a minimum Level 3 Maths qualification and or Maths specialism and hold a teacher training qualification or commitment to achieve in a specified period. You will have proven teaching experience in delivering Maths within a Further Education, Higher Education or learning environment. The Functional Skills Tutor and Assessor will ensure the full implementation of course review, evaluation, and development, and work pro-actively to secure constant quality improvement and apprenticeship timely completion and achievement of the highest possible standards.
