Progress Tutor (Foundation Learning and Specialist Provision)

We are seeking to appoint a full time Sport and Physical Activity Progress Tutor to join the team and deliver sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing sessions to support our learners to achieve their full potential and progress to their next steps.

The curriculum area has over 300 learners on a wide range of level 1 foundation learning programmes and specialist provision. The successful candidate will manage and coach a case load of learners in partnership with curriculum, other progress tutors and staff.

They successful candidate will deliver inspiring tutorial support to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering the personal, social and development aspect of the tutorial programme which will include delivering a wide range of sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing sessions for all learners along with sessions to develop their transferable skills such as team building, communication and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large cross-curricular team. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A level 3 qualification and experience in an educational setting are essential for this role.
