Kingston College are now on the lookout for a Senior Student Support Supervisor to oversee the support for Adult ALS students, with the aim of improving outcomes for learners with targeted intervention and help.

This role will ensure the College effectively maximises its ALS Adult Education Budget to the benefit of its students. The role includes in-class support for adult learners with identified learning needs. The support provided could address a broad range of students' academic and pastoral needs including motivation, breaking negative perceptions of learning, attendance, punctuality, and general learning behaviour issues.

We're looking for someone who has recent, demonstrable experience of working with Adults with support needs in a classroom or similar environment. You will have experience of efficient, effective, and timely claiming of the ALS AEB at School level or larger and be fully conversant with the claims processes and expectations.

With strong organisational, administrative and practical skills, you will have experience of delivering additional learning support and of working flexibly in response to changing curriculum needs and the needs of individual students. You will be able to interact with students of all ages but particularly with adults, in a professional but empathetic and approachable manner.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
