About the Role

Working as part of a welcoming Admissions team, the successful candidate will conduct remote interviews with applicants to our Games or Esports courses. You will have an in-depth knowledge of game development and Esports Management to enable you to assess applicants' suitability to study with us.

You will be able to engage and build rapport with applicants, parents and other stakeholders via online video link. The successful candidate will have confident presentation skills and a focus on customer service.

The role is office-based in central Manchester, but interviews will be for entry to any of our seven campuses located across England. Interviews take place via Google Meet, or, in some cases, by telephone.

You will liaise closely with Learning Support colleagues, to make sure that applicants can be effectively supported at interviews, and if successful, throughout their time studying with Access Creative College. You will collaborate with administrators and curriculum colleagues on campuses, providing them with information about interview outcomes and helping forecast likely course/group sizes. You will also help to promote bookings for post-interview events such as open days and taster days.

The role also includes responding to enquiries via various channels, such as telephone, email and live chat.

You will be working within an experienced, knowledgeable and committed Admissions Team providing exceptional service to our applicants and campuses alike.

About You

You will have extensive skills and knowledge of Games Development and Esports Management, with the ability to relate them to college course requirements; and a commitment to continuing professional development that will ensure that your product and curriculum knowledge is always current and that our applicants get the highest quality experience.

As well as being a games and esports superstar, your excellent communication and social skills will help you build successful relationships with colleagues across the business.

A background in recruitment, sales or customer service would be beneficial.

The ability to understand and analyse data enabling you to make insightful decisions is essential. You will have experience in the use of remote communication platforms including Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom; and be fully conversant with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. The use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system is desirable, but not essential.

You must have GCSE maths and English at Grace C/5 or above. A degree in a related subject is desirable.
