Tresham College, are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Creative Arts at our campus in Kettering.

Lecturers at Tresham , play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

• Preparation, delivery, assessment and verification of subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
• Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
• Managing students' learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
• Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
• Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced industry professional who has worked within the fashion and textiles industry and is keen to share their practical skills and knowledge.

Applicants will need to have an Art & Design Degree, teaching qualification and ideally industry experience, alongside knowledge and experience with Concept Generation.

It is preferred but not essential that applicants also have a knowledge of:

• Pattern Cutting, Garment Construction, and Textiles
• Textile and Photography skills at Level 2, 3 & 4, which should include Basic Photoshop, Garment construction and sustainable processes
• Level 2 learners and mental health
