Salary                        Point 26 - £24,653.16 per annum (pro-rata of £29,400)

Travel Allowance   £1,090 per annum (pro-rata of £1,300)

Hours                        35 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year)

We're seeking a highly motivated and organised Specialist Support Tutor to join our supportive ALS Team within Student Support Services.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of Vision Impaired students. You'll provide individualised support throughout their educational journey delivering high quality teaching and learning for English, maths, study skills and assistive technology to identified Vision Impaired students in small group and 1:1 to students across the IEG Group.

What you'll bring:

  • Enthusiasm for improving services for Vision Impaired students and a commitment to student success.
  • Resilience and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage a caseload and meet statutory deadlines.
  • A Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • A qualification in UEB Braille (contracted) and a Level 3 qualification relevant to the specialist area of Vision Impairment (or relevant experience)
