About the role:

The City of Oxford College, in partnership with Trailfinders Women, are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and passionate physiotherapist or sports therapist to join their rugby programme.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the programme’s aim to provide a leading performance development pathway for aspirational young rugby players. 

The post will require you to work collaboratively with other physiotherapists, Strength and Conditioning coaches and our Coaching and Management team.

This is a permanent, part time position working 18 hours a week (0.41 FTE) based at our City of Oxford college campus.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the programme’s aim to provide a leading performance development pathway for aspirational rugby players. You will have the ability to provide compassion and empathy towards our injured players ensuring they receive the most appropriate and professional treatment provided. You will have an excellent understanding of athlete injuries and rehabilitating athletes to ensure a safe return to play.

Ideally you will hold a relevant physiotherapy degree and hold an active registration with awarding bodies such as, CSP/HCPC/BASRAT/SST. A pitchside qualification would be desirable but not essential.
