South Essex College is the largest provider of technical and vocational education and training for 16–18-year-olds, adults, and apprenticeship provision within Essex. We have been on a remarkable journey for many years, merging with various organisations to form the aspirational, impactful college that we are today. Our six highly developed campuses are located across Essex, from Thurrock in the west to Southend in the east, and we have opened our Centre for Digital Technologies in Basildon town centre.

The college has a bright future, and we are committed to appointing an individual who will be essential in assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements.

You will work with the Financial Accountant in preparing reports that will be relevant for the Senior Leaders. This role will involve collaborating with the finance team to work on various accounting projects. You will assist in the preparation of the UK VAT returns and reconcile the VAT balance sheet.
