About the RoleJoin our dedicated team at The Sheffield College as an Employer Engagement Advisor. In this role, you'll be part of a passionate team committed to placing students at the core of everything we do. As an Employer Engagement Advisor, you'll seek new business opportunities and engage with employers across the Sheffield City Region, helping to create valuable apprenticeship opportunities for our students.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with sourcing business opportunities which meets sales targets
- Work with employers across industry sector networks to determine future skill and talent pipeline requirements
- Professionally manage business opportunities alongside the Employer Engagement team by developing and building your own network of contacts
- Actively seek new opportunities in all markets, evaluating and qualifying leads.
- Assist in providing excellent account management and customer service to clients.

- A sound understanding of the funding mechanisms associated with employer engagement Apprenticeships and/or Higher education
- Experience of delivering presentations and closing business deals
- Excellent knowledge of sales techniques to effectively promote the College in this sector.
