An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our FAB (Focused, Ambitious, Bright) Futures team; we are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) and the benefits that effective career planning can have on raising the aspirations of young people and adults. 

You will be a key member of a team dedicated to providing our students with the opportunities and experiences that develop their capabilities to make informed career choices. 

As a lead College in the Bridge GM Careers Hub, our commitment is to deliver high quality CEIAG to our students to prepare them to progress into sustainable education, training and employment.  Our careers strategy is aligned with the Gatsby benchmarks and we constantly strive for excellence within delivery of the strategy and careers programme.

This role would be ideal for someone who has experience of Careers delivery in a varied sector and has a proven track record of raising the aspirations of students to progress to Higher Education and into apprenticeship and employment opportunities.  The right candidate will have excellent research and presentation skills and be passionate about sharing information that enables students and those who support them to fully participate in planning a future career.  The role will provide the right individual with variety, challenge and great satisfaction in being a part of developing and influencing the workforce of the future.

The role is part time, reduced year - 15 hours per week over 38 weeks.  This will be 5 hours per day over 3 days, the working days will be dependent on class time tables but will be between Monday and Friday.

To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.
