Working Hours: 37

Salary: £22,330 – £25,870 per annum

As our College enters an exciting period of growth and development, we are looking for a Work Experience Officer to join our Student Services team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based across campuses, working from either, Cadbury Sixth Form College in Kings Norton and Sandwell College in West Bromwich.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Heads of Department to enable all learners have access to relevant and high-quality work experience which will equip them for a successful career in their chosen profession.

 

The person in this role will be required to record data, help track students work experience and ensure that it is recorded accurately. You will be able to make strong cooperative links with employers and organisations to arrange and plan work experience. Finally, you’ll be the person who promotes the value of work experience to staff and students.

 

To be successful, you will hold an English and Maths GCSE or equivalent and have experience of an educational setting with the provision of advice/guidance/employability related services to young people. You will be an excellent communicator (oral and written) and be a team player who can operate independently when required.
